With the goal of minimising the environmental impact of our constructions sites, our parent company, Bouygues Construction, launched a series of initiatives that set common standards across our core business areas in early 2010. Comprising three elements, the initiatives underline our respect for the natural environment as a whole, as well as the local environment surrounding each of our sites.
Environmental Standards Guide
These Standards stems from the most stringent national regulations, as well as drawing on our already exemplary practices observed across the Group.

Ecosite Label
Representatives of the Group’s Quality Safety Environmental Department, all of whom are independent of the project, audit each site. On successful completion of this audit, the site will be awarded the Eco-site Label.

Environmental Initiative
Dragages Hong Kong was honoured to receive the Ecosite label for its Civil Aviation Department Headquarters. Awarded in February 2010, the project was the first to receive the coveted label within the Group.
The Ecosite Label recognised a number of features implemented across the project including detailed monitoring and recycling of excavated materials, specialised staff training in environmental management, extensive recycling of materials and rainwater and the implementation of a site-wide environmental key performance indicator system.
