Benoît de RUFFRAY has been appointed Managing Director of Dragages Hong Kong Limited with effect from 1 January, 2004.

Benoît de RUFFRAY, a civil engineer by origin, started his engineering career with Bouygues Construction in France in the 90’s. He has participated in many of Bouygues Construction’s major international projects since then.

From mid 1997 to late 2000, he worked in Beirut Lebanon as Project Director for the rehabilitation of the Beirut Sea Front.

Then from 2001, he was the Director in charge of Latin America and Caribbean for the civil works branch of Dragages’ parent company Bouygues Construction. On top of strong international background, he had already spent 3 years in Hong Kong from 1994-97, working on Cheung Ching Tunnel, Rambler Channel Bridge, Rambler Channel Rail Bridge, and Tai Lam Tunnel.

The appointment of Benoît de RUFFRAY succeeds Luc MESSIER, who left Dragages Hong Kong since end of December 2003.
